Learning Outcome 3 (U20): Be able to produce the planned media components. M3 (U20): Explain how the created media components comply with the codes and conventions of the media sectors. Billboard image:   https://creativecriminals.com/pictures/hq/253/heineken3d1.jpg This billboard advertisement for Heineken somewhat inspired the billboard advertisement we designed for Phizzwizzard. Within the ad you are able to faintly see a hand reaching to grab the drink, implying it's very desirable and this person must have it although there appears to be a barrier preventing them from doing so. Our team believed this was a smart way to attract attention from our target audience and trigger the desired response of a 'must have' drink- hoping to increase the demand for our new product. Our billboard features a hand already holding the Phizzwizzard can- to both display it and connote the popularity of the drink through the hand gripping onto the can so it remains their own. Learning Outcome 3 (U20) : Be able to produce the planned media components.  Evidence of ad creation. P4 (U20): Create production to be used in the original media product.  M3 (U20): Create production materials that follow the codes and conventions of the chosen genre for the media product.  The Phizzwizzard advertising campaign we have created for the clients (Carter soft drinks) included three elements of above-the-line, mainstream advertising; a video advert, billboard, and magazine ad. Interestingly, for the advertising to be considered a campaign it must include multiple forms of advertising/ communication so we ensured these three methods were used to communicate the same message to a variety of audiences- increasing the reach. Furthermore, adding different advertising mediums to the campaign allowed it to gain more awareness and be further received by audiences who might see more than one of the adverts, further persuading them to purchase the new summer drink. Learning outcome 2 (U20) : Be able to plan a cross-media advertising campaign to a client brief.  P2 (U20): Create a plan for a cross-media advertising campaign in response to a client brief Plans Plan for a magazine advert  Carter Soft Drinks have explicitly requested that we create a magazine advert as part of the new drink campaign. Interestingly, the magazine advert will have a portrait display and be a singular page within a relevant magazine to ensure the correct audience is attained- selecting a relevant magazine will increase the chance of the ad reaching the correct target audience and subsequently ensure they trust it due to the magazine's pre-existing positive reputation. The advert will include a simple image of Phizzwizzard, the name, slogan, and an enticing colour palate for the targeted consumer as these are the key elements needed to secure success for the ad.
